Would you like to work at Employment & Training Resources? Two temporary contract positions are now open at ETR, one in Framingham and one in Norwood. These positions cover a wide variety of customer development functions including, but not limited to, performing clerical and administrative support.

Special Services and Assistance For Unemployed Individuals

Long-Term Unemployed
Assists individuals who have been unemployed for more than 26 weeks
Intel, Lonza, Avery Dennison, New England Primate Center, Organogenesis, Olympus Biotech
Assists workers laid off from Intel, Lonza, Avery Dennison, New England Primate Center, Organogenesis, and Olympus Biotech
Operation ABLE Senior Community Service Employment Program
Part-time placement in government agencies or non-profits. Customers are provided intensive job search assistance and training, with a goal of unsubsidized employment.
2nd Chance for Success Employment Program
Assists mid-career aged individuals (55 or older) with preference given to immigrants and/or minority candidates
If you think you might qualify for any of these services, please talk with ETR staff.

ETR Customers Returning to Work

Last week 78 ETR customers reported to us that they had found employment, at an average pay of $33.20 per hour ($65,250 per year). During the month of April, 213 ETR customers reported that they had found employment, at an average wage of $28.11 per hour ($58,469 per year). Between July 1st (the beginning of our fiscal year) and April 30th, 1,994 ETR customers reported employment, at an average wage of $29.80 per hour ($61,984 per year).
